Free or inexpensive dry wood

>There have been several references by MWWoodWorks (I sure do like real names) about the lack of wood. Most of us are aware of tree trimmers or landscape companies but here are a couple you might not have thought about:

1. Craiglist free section usually has free firewood listed. It might be junk but worth a look.

2. Second hand furniture and thrift shops will often have beat up tables, bookcases or other items at very low prices. You might find some nice Cherry, Mahogany or Oak at a very low board foot price. Ask if they have any unmatched table leaves.
