Turning Archive 2008
>this past week-end when Mike Mahoney had a demo and hands-on sessions for our Honolulu Woodturners Club. He is fast: The demo produced a narra calabash, lychee small hollow form, large narra platter, a threaded finial for a pet urn, and a signature jacaranda salad bowl. Plus discussions on his approach to woodturning, his marketing philosophy, and pricing of his pieces. He and wife Jenni were ideal house guests and great company. They originally spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and have been back a couple of times since, but not recently. Think they enjoyed the relatively nice weather as it was in the mid-30's back in Orem.
