>Here is how I get rid of the center nub using the Hunter #4 tool. I start with the handle well to the right to avoid any chance of a catch. Push the tool against the bottom and the move the handle to the right until it starts to cut. Now your on the bevel. If you keep the cutter fairly steep, 45 to 75 degrees it will simply stop cutting at the center. Sometimes on big nubs you may have to "whittle" away at the top before making a pass all the way from the bottom of the box to center.
I apologize for the focus. My son was using the camera and our eyes are different. Apparently I didn't get the diopter set exactly right. I'll go back and check that.
