Appropriate woods for pen blanks....

JL
>I am a compulsive pack rat - I admit it. I collect tools, wood, books, etc. So, I have lots of bits of scrap lumber. The LOML has suggested that I clean some of it out :(. The oak, maple and poplar can go to my local friends with wood stoves (several boxes worth).

Mahogany?
Brazilian Cherry?
Black Walnut?
Cherry?
