>A first, for our local paper at least. The Knoxville News Sentinel this morning ran an article on wood turning by a LA Times author. It describes a collector of woodturnings and has photos of a few of the 150 pieces in her collection.

For those who sell turnings, the article mentions that while some pieces go for $100000, works by "new" artists can start at $20O. (This from a gallery owner, not a craft fair attendee.)

It has some interesting things to say about art and craft and wood.
