Subject:
Different tool *PIC*

Colin Spencer
>There was a thread recently about the point tool and I have one that I use with great success. I had another piece of 10mm HSS and thought that I would try a similar but different tool. I ground it using my Wolverine jig and belt sander. It is great for spindle work for cutting coves and is great as a scraper on either spindle or faceplate work. It can be used either riding the bevel or in scraper mode. I have not seen anything similar before but that is not to say that someone else hasn't already invented it.

If you have a suitable piece of steel give it a try and let me know what you think.
