>My understanding is that the cone tip (as well as the large reversible cone) for the Oneway live center is made of aluminum. Would this make using the Oneway live center inappropriate for supporting the end of a pen mandrel? I would think that since the tip was made of aluminum instead of, say, tool steel, the tip of the cone could easily deform.
Of course, if the tip is made of something else, I'd be glad to be corrected.
