Subject:
Revolving Stebcenter question

wilbur
>I'm looking to get a live center, as I don't have one yet. I'm mainly doing spindles and using a pen mandrel. For the spindles, I thought the Revolving Stebcenter would be good.

For the pen mandrel, I understand that I should use a live center with a 60 degree point on the tail end. Can the point on the Stebcenter be used for this, or should I get a separate live center for that purpose?

If so, any suggestions on which live center with a cone tip would be good. Or maybe I should get one of those live centers with interchangeable tips?
