Subject:
CA glue question

Ed Moore
>Some people use thin CA glue as a finish. I am making seven Christmas ornament bells from catalpa, as per the request of the owner of the catalpa, and one of the bells split. I used CA glue to repair it and the porosity of the catalpa meant that I will have to apply CA glue to the entire surface.

What is it that people use as an applicator when applying CA glue as a finish? Is it a batting of some type? I know that if I use a piece of tee shirt that I have made a mistake and will have a hot piece of cloth in my hand - and probably stuck to it.

Ed
