The inspiration is based on the Loonie that was buried under centre ice by the Edmonton ice crew hired to do the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics. The Canadian men and womens hoceky team won gold knowing the Loonie was there during each gold medal game.

Here's hoping I can inspire some customers at my coming craft shows over the next few weeks to feel they need one!

Ruth Niles stainlees steel stoppers as standard.

Take care,
Jim

The Loonie that was made famous during the Salt Lake Olympics is on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
