screw lid boxes *PIC*

>You haven't seen too much from me lately. I've been filling orders. I've made a dozen mirrors, a dozen wine stoppers, a wine stopper display and a square lidded box (not turned). I finally had time to play with my Baxter threading machine. Here are 2 boxes. One is box elder that is bleached with a lacquer finish. The other is a hickory box that has fluted sides. I bleached a section of it and then air brushed black onto the rest. The inside was left natural. It also has a lacquer finish.

They are about 6" tall and 3" around. I made them accurately enough that you can swap the lids. The threader I have is 16tpi. You can get other sizes from Vic but since this is the biggest box I plan to make I think 16 is about right. Most boxes will be smaller.
