Basic Tool Set and Skew Question

>Hey all,

I am getting ready to start some turning. I have turned before and am not nearly a professional, but I am fairly proficient with all the tools. Currently I have a 1" skew (not oval), 1/4" parting tool, 1/2" round nose scraper, 3/8" spindle gouge, and a 3/4" spindle gouge. What else do I need? For right now I will be sticking with spindle sanding. I want to make stools, chairs, candlesticks, etc. I will probably delve into bowls next spring.

Also, I am thinking that I want a smaller skew. I am thinking a 1/2" for some of the smaller work that I am wanting to do pretty soon. Which is better, the oval shaped skew or the rectangular shape? Just need your opinions on this.

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to get back into this.
