Square Bowl *PIC*

>his bowl is the result of my first foray back to turning after a 7 month lay-off.

I was recently given a large plank of a mahogany type wood. It was very old and very dry. There was virtually no interlocking grain and so it was a dream to turn particularly after my lay off. It is 10" in diameter just over 2" high and 3/16" thick. Finished with wax and buffed.

I am reasonably happy with it after my time away from the lathe. I would like comments both on the bowl and photography as this is my first woodturning photo with a DSLR.
