Face plate wobble tip.

>At least it is new to me. I have a face plate that was wobbling and thought there was a problem with the lathe. After wiping down the lathe to make sure there were no little bits on the head stock around the spindle it still wobbled. It turned out there was some glue, caked saw dust, mashed bugs or just plain stuff on the end of the face plate that was preventing it from fully seating. Of course removing it and using a different one also removed the problem. Once it was cleaned up the problem was solved.

Just another of those little things most everyone else knows that I had to find out for myself. Now, I wonder if that electric fence works.
