A box of yew.... *PIC*

>Here is my first box from a stick of yew my son sent me from England. This is an unusual wood in that it turns somewhat like cedar and screeches as it gets thin if much pressure is put on it. Sanding was interesting in that any pressure with sandpaper got it hot very quickly and I found that I had to sand with little or no pressure. It finished up at 2 3/4" in diameter and 3" tall. Comments appreciated....
