I responded to Steven Antonucci's request for a wood trade and I here is the first of many new types of wood to turn.

He sent me a nice piece of Cherry Burl and I made my 3rd attempt at a hollow form and my first one with a natural edge. (I don't know how everyone gets inside that tiny hole:) The size is 6 inches tall and 3 1/2 at the widest spot. (I think the shoulder should have been higher.) It is finished with linseed oil while wet sanding, buffed and waxed.
