Shop Shot **EXCLUSIVE**

David Yoho
>In Shop Shot #845, Alan Young pays tribute to a long-time WoodCentral contributor and master furniture carver, Lee Grindinger. It was Lee's work that inspired Alan to try his hand at furniture carving. His generous sharing of time and talent helped guide Alan as he endeavored to expand his furniture making skills with the addition of carving.

In this Shop Shot exclusive, Alan shares a well-documented look at the construction of his mahogany and sapele coffee table. From the beginning design influences to the actual joinery and assembly, Alan shows us how he made this beautiful table. If you're like me, I'm sure you'll have questions after viewing this one. This is the perfect time and place to ask them, get answers from the craftsman, and open a dialog that may benefit us all.

So, if you have something to say, post your responses right here.

Cheers,

David Yoho
