Speaking of "fire-safe"

Mark Mandell - Gone Round In Jersey
>It was suggested to me today that, since my dust collector is in the garage (rather than in the basement shop where I work), I should pipe in a pair of 150F* sprinkler heads over the DC for fire protection from hot stuff in the collection bags. I don't cut wood with nails and such imbeded, so I'm thinking this is more than a bit of overkill. Unfortunately, the comment was made within earshot of SWMBO. She hasn't said anything, yet, but I know, sure as an on-coming freight with no headlight in the tunnel, that it's coming.

Comments??

This can present some problems because the garage is unheated so a water line would probably have to be wired with a heater to freeze-proof the water line.

[yeah, it never ends]
