Subject:
Two bowls *PIC*

>Last week, I posted for a wood trade, and Karen Frietas answered. My wood came yesterday, and I dug in. I turned the walnut one last night, and decided to make this small hand bowl. I'm guessing it's 3"x2", and the rim was textured with a Dremel with a cutoff wheel. I then blackened it with a permanent marker.

The interior was goldleafed and distressed to contradict the "perfectness" of the exterior finish to signify that some things that look good on the outside have some "hidden secret." I seem to recall having seen a little Tibetan cup (TV?) that was very ornate and was used to drink yak milk... you get the idea.

Comments welcome.
