Turning Archive 2007
>I have a Nova DVR that is about five years old. It's mounted on a flat butcher block type top on a cabinet. Sawdust builds up under and in the bed. I use my DC to clean up and yesterday I was poking my hand in between the ways to stir up the crud and get it moving. Turns out the edges of the casting down in between the ways are SHARP. I got a small cut between my fingers. Might want to file those sharp edges. Also it might be good to mount your lathe so that the bed doesn't trap crud.
PS. Other Nova lathes use the same beds.
