Subject:
So I started a fire in the garage last night

Thad Parker
>I had stepped out into the garage to turn a quick spinning top for a co-workers son. Chucked up a scrap chunk of poplar, roughed it round then ensured a nice sharp edge on the gouge and went back to turning it down. Next thing I know I'm wondering what is burning. I shut the lathe off and follow my nose back to the grinding station and find a stray peice of steel wool smoldering bright orange. A spark or three must have found there way to it. That was my lesson learned Tuesday.
