Making Tools: Brass 360 Follow-up Part 1 *PIC*

>I got some Brass 360 Alloy and Aluminum to make my own shot filled tool handles for my Doug Thompson Tools.

1. I cut the Aluminum to 24" in length (can shorten later as needed).

2. I cut a 2.75" length of Brass 360 Alloy bar.

3. Insert the Brass 360 into the center of my "antique" Raffen Chuck... fits like a glove.

4. From there I drill out the center for 2" to accept the tang of the DT Tool. Set the VFD Control to 30 cycles and it drills real nice on the old gap bed lathe.
