Box #2

>Alright. Here goes. These are my second and third attempts at turning lidded boxes. All comments welcome. I am not a photographer. Photos were taken outside in natural light.

The first is of cocobolo, about 1 1/2 inches tall by 2 inches diameter. It's a "ring box" requested by Dear Daughter #2 after DD#1 requested and received my first attempt.

Here's the underside of the box and lid. Per forum consensus, the bottom is slightly concave. So is the lid, in case she plunks a ring on top instead of inside the box. The finish is oil and wax.
