OK, Lacquer Dudes. What'd I Do Bad?

>Finished a smallish footed bowl in Box Elder, and decided to use semi-gloss Deft lacquer.

Followed the label and applied 6 coates at about 1 hour intervals in 2 sessions, 2 days apart. Like the finish, however . . .

If I leave the piece on a smooth surface (glass etc.) the piece sticks to the surface after about two days. Obviously there is still come outgassing of thinner occurring, but there must be something else going on here.

What'd I do? and

When will it stop?
