Subject:
Sugar Maple Pot *PIC*

George Van
>I had this hard maple pot in my cabinet drying for two years, it is one of the first I have hollowed to completion. I decided I had waited plenty of time for it to stop moving and decided it was about time I finished it. It was turned green and allowed to squat to 6x5x 4.5 high with 5/8 opening, 1/8 thick. I finished with Waterlox but decided not to go for a high gloss finish and leave it as it is.
This is also the first time I have used background paper (Thunder Gray by John Lucas suggestion). Comments welcome. Thanks for looking.
