I haven't posted in a LONG time! Cedar turning... *PIC*

>I took a little brake and went on vacation this summer. When I came back to turning i decided I'd do something simple yet "sharp". So i used this cedar log in my shop and mounted it sideways and started chiseling away. I found that I REALLY like turning stuff like this. So here are the results. You can barely see the bark still on the bowl. There is not an official spot where the bowl rests. Its just a smooth curve all through the bowl. It rests balancing on the curve. I hand sanded to 1200 and the finish is KIWI neutral shoe polish. Then hand buffed.
