Subject:
Mexican cocobolo beaded box... *PIC*

Mike Stafford
>I am not sure what distinguishes Mexican cocobolo from any other cocobolo except, perhaps, where it is harvested. This wood was extraordinarily dense and hollowed beautifully leaving an almost glass smooth surface. The colors are not as vibrant as I would have hoped but nevertheless the wood is quite beautiful to my eye. This little box at 1 7/8" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter has a surprising amount of heft/weight to be mostly empty...Comments appreciated.
