Turned this today (started yesterday) *PIC*

>It's a little bit bottom heavy as I continue to try to find ways to accurately measure thin walled deep vessels. I'm guessing that the top 2/3 is somewhere less than 3/16" and the bottom is probably +/- 1/4". I used an Ellsworth style caliper, but upon releasing the vessel from the lathe, it weighed more than I'd normally want.

Overall, it's about 10" tall by 4" at the widest, hollowed through a 5/8" hole. I turned it end grain to maximize the spalt line. I rived off a windshake yesterday and mashed my thumb or I would have finished hollowing it yesterday...

Comments/questions/whatever welcome...
