>to boring bars. What flux do you use. I have done it before with no trouble. Today I can't get the silver solder to flow. I am trying to put 3/16" tips on 3/8"rod. The rod takes the solder just fine, the Enco tip doesn't. I have tried three kinds of flux, a no name from about forty years ago which has worked fine in the past; a tube of Oatey that came with kit and some paste flux that came in a green can from the HD. I just can't get the silver solder to flow on the tip. I am using a Mapp gas torch. What have I missed (or forgotten)(G)?
