Timberwolf broke.....finally

TDaniel
>A couple or three months before the Gathering last year I put a new 3/8 x 3 tpi Timberwolf blade on my Delta bandsaw with riser and today it broke. That is about 18 months on the blade. I never release the tension or fiddle with it. It would have gone longer but I have been sawing mortise and tenon joints recently and the center cutout between tenons requires a tight curve. The blade still felt sharp but the new one cut much better so I know the old one was getting dull. That sucker has cut a LOT of wood. It did not break in the weld. Oh, and it has never been resharpened.
