High speed engraver piercing *PIC*

>I'm not sure who was asking about the High speed engravers burning the wood. My friend John Moss brought this piece and some other over for me to shoot today. I asked him about that question. he said that they burn less when you cut in a CCW direction but that is unnatural for some cuts. He mentioned two alternatives. One was to cut the hole and then go back very lightly in CCW direction to clean up the burn. If that doesn't work try using a fine diamond cutter and go back in every hole and clean up the burn area.

I have been using the Dremel which doesn't burn but is very challenging to control and very slow cutting.

Buy the way, a cheese ball doesn't fit very well in this and the dip leaks out the sides so I'd say it's only worth about $20
