Subject:
Pewter inlay, Lab Metal, and thanks

Ed Moore
>In a thread that is passing on out of view the idea of using a liquid, Lab Metal, to fill cracks or patterns was considered. I went to purchase some Lab Metal and saw some that had hardened. My conclusion was that it was only slightly better in appearance than the epoxy, PC-7, and that it was not sufficiently metallic to be attractive as a filler. It was a good idea though.

I haven't had a chance to try some solid solder, which is similar to what Christophe was using in his AAW demo.

Thanks for all the help,

Ed
