Using different glues on segemented turnings?

I'm in the planning stages of a new segmented piece. The main part of the project will be wood and copper. After some experimenting, I found Systems 3 Quik Cure epoxy worked the best with the way I do glue ups.

I'd like to use yellow glue to assemble the feature ring and to attach the ring to the body.

Grain orientation aside, do you see any problems mixing glues this way?

TIA
