OT: I'm back... *PIC*

>In case anyone here was wondering where I was, I just got back from Yosemite with my eldest son. I turned 41 on 7/2 and he turned 9 yesterday. We've decided to make our birthday's an annual hiking trip somewhere, and this year went to the Yosemite High Sierra Camps.

We bagan our days in the valley, which is crowded and commercial. Most of the people that visit Yosemite never leave the valley, and that's probably a good thing. We had a couple of day hikes in the valley to try to acclimate slowly to the altitude changes. Going from sea level to 9500' in a day seemed like a bad idea, so we slowly built up our endurance.

We drove up to the Tuolumne Meadows area along 120 towards Tioga Pass. Snow still in the higher elevations (above 11,000'). We hiked the John Muir Trail into Sunrise High Sierra Camp, and then over towards Clouds Rest. Most of the time we were between 9500' to 10,000' in elevation. Everyday was an adventure.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip.
