Subject:
Siberian Elm Burl Hollow Form *PIC*

Andy DiPietro
>This piece of wood was cut near a large crutch section. Hence the nice curved grain lines. I originally thought it was Catalpa burl until I got it identified by an arborist. He said it was definitely Siberian Elm and not Chinese Elm or Catalpa. This piece is 7 1/2"dia x 9"H x 1 1/2" collar & 2" Base. Critiques are welcome as usual.

For those of you going to the Five Barnís Picnic, I will be bringing a couple of Siberian Elm Burl log sections for the wood swap.

Thanks
