>I guess all the lucky people who got to go to Portland are hurredly (sp) doing all their last minute purchases in the vendor area and trying to see that one last demonstrator before they head home. I'm envious but saving my money so I can go next year.

It looks like there were some really neat lathes introduced this year. I hope Doug Thompson and Mike Hunter had good success with their tools.

Most of all I miss getting to see the instant Gallery. That is such a kick in the pants. At first you are overwhelmed and a little bowled over the the quality of the work. Then you start to get excited because you can't wait to get home to try some of the neat things you see.
