Turning Archive 2007
Here are a few pens I recently finished up. There is a rosewood and a tulipwood (both Baron kits) and a maple-ish Sierra. The rosewood baron has no finish and the tulipwood was sanded to 5 micron (overkill?) and CA. The maple for the sierra was wet when I got it. I cut it to blank size and then placed it in a tub with blue food colouring. I left it until the coloured water completely evaporated (actually, I had forgotten about it). CA is the finish. I have no idea how long the colour will last but the blank had been on the windowsill for a couple of months and so far it looks good.
