Subject:
Stopping a crack on a mid-finished bowl

Steve Kubien
>Hi everyone,

The maple bowl I am working on as developed a tiny crack. It has one coat of tung oil on it so far. Can I CA the crack even though the oil has not yet dried? Do I let the oil dry first (I suspect so). Will the CA work on an oiled surface once the oil is dry? Your help is appreciated greatly because I really like the shape of this bowl and I love the wood itself.

Thanks,
