Walnut end grain Vase *PIC*

MIke from St. Clair Shores
>This is a 12" tall walnut vase turned from a log that was soaking wet. Turned it one week ago and the walls are uniformly just over 1/8 inch thick. There has been no distorsion or cracking. The pith was turned off center. It is extremely light and has 3 coats of Watco so far. The humidity the last 2 days has been very high. I think I will wait for several weeks before I buff it out. Comments always welcome.
