Subject:
Bark Removal

Doug Reynolds in Seattle
>Got some plum from a tree that was felled this past weekend. Processed it into useable blocks but, did not have time to remove all the bark in some cases. Applied Anchorseal to the whole blank (except the bark). I plan on rough turning the blocks into bowls as soon as possible so the wood is still mostly green. Is not removing the bark going to cause big problems down the road? How long can I safely leave the bark on?
