Corkscrew Willow

>I just had a large corkscrew willow cutdown. I saved a section of the main trunk jusust where the main fork started. Is this wood any good for turning bowls? It seems extremely stringy. Splitting it is close to impossible.

PS - I am a novice turner. Just a couple of pens, xmas ornaments, and simple table legs under my belt.
