Subject:
A "little" Burl eye candy *PIC*

>My son and I were hiking in the Delaware Water gap today getting in shape for our Yosemite trip in 7 weeks when we came across this little beauty. I'm not sure what kind of tree it is but the trunk is probably 18"-24" in diameter. The burl had to be 3' across, and 12' up.

Someday it will rot on the ground, since the DWG rangers don't seem to spend too much time harvesting downed timbers... but at least I got to see it.
