Lathe article in FWW

>I am sort of surprised that no one has mentioned the 'Heavy Duty Lathes' tool test article in the May/June '07 Fine Woodworking.
The Powermatic 3520B was rated the best overall. Followed by the new Nova 1624-44 ( and DVR ) rated best value.

What surprised me, and was all the buzz on the Stubby list was the lack of some other brands.
The article mentioned that Oneway did not make a lathe comparable in size and price, and that Delta was unable to provide a sample for testing.
It seems that all of the bigger lathes were for pro use only. ??

Some of the test were sort of interesting, but of questionable value.

Any comments?
