Osage and Lapis "Outlay" *PIC*

Ed Davidson (Colorado Springs)
>This Osage Orange bowl measures about 8" across and stands 3" tall. The edge treatment is called "outlaying - see the inlay from three sides" and is composed of epoxy and dark blue embossing powder…looks just like lapis stone.

The "outlay" process was developed by Larry Fox, a friend of mine who lives here in Colorado and uses locally mined (Cripple Creek, CO) natural turquoise exclusively on his large outlay-bowls.

Best regards,
Ed D.
