Buckeye Hollow Form *PIC*

Bill Clark
>This is a piece of Buckeye that was my first hollow form. It’s 4 ˝” wide and 3 ˝” tall. I wasn’t happy with the bare opening so I added my first attempt at a ebony finial. The top of the finial probably should have been turned a little thinner but I was afraid to press my luck with my first attempt. I finished it with two coats of de-waxed shellac to seal the soft wood and then I added two coats of Minwax satin poly. All comments/critiques welcome.
