Subject:
Box Now Has Bottom... *PIC*

Ron McKinley
>Last week I posted about accidently turning through the bottom of a nice lidded box. I was determined to salvage this project so I turned a tapered tenon on another piece of the same type wood and after making sure it was a snug fit I parted it off leaving about 1/8" protruding from the base. Then I reverse chucked it and machined the base, leaving it about 1/16" proud to "lift it off the table" as Alan Lacer says.......Ron
