Anyone ever turn afromosia

>I have some I got in an auction. Its dry and I have built a segmented blank and am making a bowl. It seems to move even though its dry.
Reading an internet site they describe as similar to teak and used as a substitute. It looks something like teak. The sawdust is about the same yellow as all the pollen around here, but the wood is lite brown with a bit of yellow.
