Subject:
Offset handled scoop

Mike R Courteau
>A month or 2 back, on Woodworkingchannel.com, I watched a turner make an offset handled scoop. He turns the scoop part first as a sphere, then the offset handle. Then, he uses a sacrificial piece in which he turns a concave and taps the sphere into it to turn off the top of the sphere and create the bowl of the scoop. Does anyone have any idea who this turner is. I think the video was of an AAW demo.

Any help you can give me to trace this turner would be great. I'd like to see if he has a website where I can get some more information.

Thanks
Mike
