Subject:
finial, collar or nothing? *PIC*

>I'm trying to decide whether to put something on this vessel. The iniside is turned very poorly. I just haven't turned enough vessels of this size to turn the inside cleanly. The hole is too small to sand through. I think a finial would take your eye away from the figure in the wood but I'm leaning toward something that doesn't look like a knob or your typical Cindy Drozda finial.

The other option would be to add a small collar. However the piece warped quite a bit and I don't know for sure that I can make a collar fit without looking jury rigged.

It is difficult to see inside but turners will always look which is why I'm wanting to cover up my mediocre hollowing.

What do the wise people of WC think.
