Subject:
Great Day Today

Bob Moffett
>Today I went to "A Day at he Lathe" put on by the Southern Piedmont Woodturners in Kannapolis, N.C. It was great. It focused on hollow forms and decorative bowls & vessels. It lasted all day and there were 3 demonstrators, John Jordan, Jamie Donaldson and Lyle Jamieson. Each turner had different methods, but they all had a central theme. Turning should be fun and not work. It was truely a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I also got the make some new woodturning friends. All in all, it was a great day and I'll be there when they do it again next year. Anyone else that can could come should also come next year.
